I landed in Bangkok, but I immediately jumped on a southern-bound flight to Koh Samui. After a week and a half of relaxing on beaches and learning how to scuba dive, I headed back up to the capital to spend a night on Koa Sarn Rd. and visit Jim Thompson's House. Check it. I even got to tease a baby elephant.
